is pierce 9 months?? woah!

lets start with Christmas in Casper! Brad and Tally, and the kids, joined us and Grandma Lue Lue and Papa for Christmas! We hiked up to the Casper waterfall... as seen in the pic, if you look behind us - it got dark fast, and our prime photo-op window closed - sorry. but it was fun nonetheless!

The boys enjoyed Christmas morning! Lots of wonderful goodies! I have to say, mom and dad got some pretty nice things also!

Anderson is a great big brother! He loves to play with Pierce! This is a fort Anderson made, and insisted I put Pierce in with him, they certainly have a good time.

Evans friend from Brazil got married last year and moved to SLC, so we get to see them often - this is us outside of the Jordan River Temple - thanks Aunt Kelly for babysitting!!

 More brotherly love!

This weekend Grandma and Grandpa Danforth came down to help with building my Christmas gift... pictures to come... and help babysit (i was super busy with church stuff) and Anderson loved Grandmas glasses - so as we were going to church, he looked just like a mini missionary - and a cute one to boot!

Pierce Talmage is one of the happiest babies ever! As long as he is fed, he is happy! He is starting to finally crawl, but prefers to be 'walked' with mom or dad holding his hands. His appt is next week, so i will give the weigh in then. These boys are so special, I am the luckiest mommy ever!

Holidays and growing boys

this Thanksgiving we stayed in Rock Springs for a few reasons, as much as we missed being home with family, we had a great time here with friends!
It is crazy how much the holidays change as you get older... I remember times being special and the air always seemed to be filled with sweet smells like cider or cinnamon. Now, i guess the mantel has fallen on my shoulders, and it is a bigger task than I would have guessed, I hope I can create that same feeling for my kids!
Evan has gone shooting a few time with the boys lately (thanks!!) and Anderson loves it!

The Plan One Christmas Party was in Driggs, ID this year, it is such a beautiful place! One of the days we headed to a hot springs...but the sign had blown off, so we didn't know where to turn, and we missed it completely. So we kept driving to Rexburg. Anderson loves the temple, especially Angel Moroni! Then we played at Fat Cats - the boys loved it!

hotels are the worst with new kids! But it was fun swimming! Anderson is getting pretty good, too! He can float on his back!! Pierce just loves to lounge :)

At the party Santa (thanks Plan One!) got Anderson and Pierce a SWEET all-terrain wagon! they totally love it!

Pierce Talmage is  7.5 months old. Time flys! He isn't crawling yet, but he loves to walk with me and he is pulling himself up onto things {sort of}. I thought Anderson was a fatty... Pierce is already wearing 12 month clothes - ugh.

I was called as the 1st counselor in the Primary a few months ago - and so I have been busy making Christmas things for the teachers and kids. I have been very busy making lots of Christmas goodies for friends and family - but do to spoiling gifts, I cannot say much until after Christmas.

I printed this off of the raisingoranges blog, and will give them to the kiddos tomorrow, who doesn't enjoy woppers, oops, i mean poo :)

I made some bookmarks for the teachers - this years theme is 'I know the scriptures are true' so hopefully this will help remind them to read the scriptures as well as other books.
I also made a couple body scrubs that pretty much rock - so if you want I can send you the link for the recipes.
I love this season, and grateful for how blessed we are!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Thanksgiving and more

This week has been busy. I don't often write much in my posts {because, lets face it, people want see whats going on, not read it}. But I feel like I may be ungrateful if I don't mention something about Thanksgiving.
I cannot express how grateful I am to my Savior for the sacrifice he made! I would not be in the places I am today without the gift of forgiveness and repentance, and that is amazing. I have a great husband, I have two fantastic boys, who work my nerves, but one day will make up for it I am certain. We have a wonderful home, and Evan is employed. At this stage in our life, we really can't ask for more.

This year we had a couple friends over to celebrate Thanksgiving, it was not the same without family, but it was very close. We have met a few families here that are good friends, wh
ich makes life easier! I didn't take any pictures of the feast (which was delish), but I did finish my console table project to decorate for the occasion.

our new pride and joy

this is the newest part of our family! aren't you so excited for me! a special shout out goes to my sister Cher and her hubby Cory for keeping it nice for me for three years {they must have known one day it would be passed along to their poor {pun intended} sister}

so now i need help to fill it, please give me freezer meal ideas... but if the first thought that came to your mind was giving me food... DEAL, no back-sees.
