happy haunting!

the decorating has a little to be desired, but it is a work in progress...
this is one of my favorite holidays! poor anderson, because his mom loves halloween she has drug him everywhere... downtown trick or treating, trunk or treat, hospital trick or treating, mall trick or treating, senior center trick or treating, and finally, neighborhood trick or treating - are you sick of me saying trick or treating?

Pierce was a sushi roll :)

Anderson and Evan were a duo. Anderson was a minion and Evan was Vector... committing crime with both direction and magnitude, Vector, Oh Yay!

he loves the candy, but hates the work :)

I am so happy that the boys love each other! Talk about brotherly love!

We also got to have a couple lunches with cousins.

2 year olds can count

So, some fun things have been happening at the casa de danforth. Pierce is 5 months now, and has been trying to eat our food... he grabbed Evans hamburger and took a bite, so we have been giving him applesauce and he loves it.

The first snow fall of the season happened this weekend, so the boys were begging me to let them go play!

Then, Anderson grabbed my pants and put them on {they almost fit him} HA! {not}! so, of course, Pierce wanted to try too!

And finally, the proof is in the pudding, or should I say bread and dipping oil, my son can count! Tonight Evan was eating some bread and dipping it in oil and vinegar, and Anderson wanted some of it. So being the good, sharing parent he is, Evan started to pull the bread into pieces to share. He gave a handful to Anderson and Anderson said, "two, I want two" Evan said, "you have", then counted, "seven pieces of bread." Then {here is the BEST PART}, Anderson said, as he tilted his head toward Evan, and scrunched his eyes, "eight." so Evan gave him one more. Anderson , still with the funny look, said "nine", so laughing our heads off, gave him one more, then Anderson said, still with the look and now a funny voice, said, "TEN." So he got 10 pieces of bread, he would have gotten 11 if his mom was more on top of it, but the next number he said was 4. I am so proud of him, he is a super smart boy, and even though he is way energetic and loud, he still has me wrapped around his finger... for now :)

falling for fall

this is my wreath, i like it.
anderson loved playing in the leaves! what else can i say :)
This is a wonderful time of year! It snowed here today, which I can't say I love, but it made me bring out the soup making pan, the bread maker, and the logs for the fire :) I also have started decorating for halloween, muhahahaha, we love halloween!
