2 month check up

at our 2 month check up we found out that we have a fat baby. anderson is growing very well, and starting to be more interactive; he smiles back finally. he is 23 inches, 13 pounds 2 oz, and the doctor loves it. we took him to venice beach and stopped by the canals, and he loves getting his tush powdered after a nice bath. oh, and he loves daddy, as you can tell by this fun picture.

blessing anderson

over labor day weekend, some family came into town, and we had a blast. we watched the first usc football game of the season, we went to 3rd street promenade, we went to the local farmers market, finally took a picture of fun bath time, and lots more. but the most important is that on Sunday we blessed our month old son. it is such a gift to have this opportunity; to use to Priesthood power to give our children blessings. I am so grateful for a healthy happy baby who will only continue to grow and make me happier and happier.

thanksgiving in wyoming

Thanksgiving was great! Evan and I flew to Pinedale to see Loma, Kurt, Cher, Cory, and Hailey. The new house is so beautiful! Check me out carving the turkey, and Evan eating some yummy food - well, yummy or something. Then Kurt drove us to the mountains, and this cabin was on the top. It was such a great trip!

house warming 'mocktail' party

it has been 2 months now in our new place, so it felt only right to throw the best party ever. Fear not little flock, there is zero alcohol in those glasses, only delicious fake cocktails. it was a great way to break in the new house, thanks y'all for helping us make it our home.

Payne Reunion 08

This was such a wonderful trip - and totally needed! The only thing that was discouraging is that Mexico was exactly like the area that we live in ... so gross!
